SCHLIEREN, Switzerland, April 20, 2022 /Christian
Newswire/ -- Coming Out Alive! (c)2021 by Karen E. Cedergren, 278 pages, is
an easy-to-read Christian book detailing the effects and impact that Postmodern
philosophy and culture are having on the believer's worldview and the practice
of our faith, and more importantly offers Scriptural guidance on how the
believer can navigate Postmodern culture and remain faithful to Christ. It is
well researched, current, and uses more than 270 Bible verses to support each
crucial point made.
From the back cover:
Question: Is there a message for the Body of Christ in this book?
Proofreader's Answer: YES, YES, YES! Your words are informative, backed by
research, and blessed with Scripture; easy to read, sincere, current, and more.
Your book makes so much sense to me. It taught me things I did not know and
reinforced beliefs we share.
Excerpts from official review:
Coming out Alive! is a book that takes a deep, critical, and extensive look at
the effects of postmodernism on the church. It compares important behavioral
patterns of churches in the postmodern era with those from the past. After
reading this book, I was convinced that postmodern concepts have a negative
effect on the church, and a lot of Christians are not doing enough to prevent
this.
I like how Karen presented her arguments. She backed each of her points with
actual research whenever she could. She also backed every point with scriptures
from the Bible... Her writing was also straightforward, and she only included
things that were necessary to the topic of interest.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this book. Also, this book didn't
have any misused or misspelled words, so l believe it was exceptionally edited
by a professional. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because of how well the
author presented her arguments. My reading experience was very pleasant, and I
believe that more people should read this book because of the powerful message
inside it.
