Biblical Concepts
Ministries President Dr. Johnson to Give Presentation on School Prayer to
Clay County FL School Board
Clay County School Board Meeting, Thursday January
19th 7PM Fleming Island High School.
Contact: Dr. Raymond Johnson, 904-338-4751
CLAY COUNTY, Fla., Jan. 18, 2012 /Christian
Newswire/ -- Dr. Raymond Johnson Founder and President of Biblical
Concepts Ministries (BCM) will address the Clay County FL School Board at
the January 19th meeting. BCM is a ministry teaching free seminars on
biblical concepts and constitutional principles of government to churches &
civic groups nationally.
Dr. Johnson and BCM has been involved the fight for our religious freedom
and our second amendment right to pray at our public school flagpole. Dr.
Johnson will give a power point presentation to the board reviewing biblical
concepts of government from the bible. This presentation proves the biblical
right to pray on school property and why elected leaders in opposition are
biblically disqualified to hold public office.
At the December meeting BCM gave a ten minute presentation to the board
detailing the original intent of the founding fathers and the constitution
concerning the first amendment right to pray on school property. You can
view you tube video of the presentation at

BCM got involved in this fight when Dr. Johnson heard of the attack on Rev.
Ron Baker, Pastor of Russell Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs FL. Rev.
Baker has been praying at the flagpole of a Clay County elementary school
with parents and students before school at the start of each school week for
over ten years.
The Freedom from Religion Foundation sent the Clay County School District a
letter informing the board that prayer at the flagpole was unconstitutional
and if it did not cease immediately they would seek legal action against the
school district to stop the prayer.
The Liberty Council and the American Center for Law and Justice is
representing Rev. Baker to protect his First Amendment rights. At the
November school board meeting the five member board voted 3-2 to seek a
legal injunction to arrest Rev. Baker if he came on school property.
At the December board meeting after several hours of public comment the
board voted 5-0 to rescind the injunction against Rev. Baker. The board is
working on arranging a public work shop to further discuss the matter and
will work to determine policy on how to settle the matter.
Dr. Johnson is available for interviews. |
