CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 2, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- All Christian book readers are invited to vote for the 2012 Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year Award. Although small publishers are often less well known than larger publishing houses, they produce fresh and innovative books to inspire readers or fill niche needs. The Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year award honors books produced by small publishers for outstanding contribution to Christian life.

Readers can vote online now at www.ChristianBookAward.com. Voting on the Book of the Year Award is open now through March 31, 2012.

The Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year Award is offered for books in each of 12 categories: General Fiction, Romance, Biography, Christian Living, Relationships/Family, Devotional, Bible Study/Theology, Gift Book, Children's Book 4-8 years, Children's Book 8-12 years, Young Adult (12+ years), and eBook Exclusive.

The winners of the 2012 Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year Award are determined solely by the votes of Christian retailers and book lovers alike. The winners will be announced on April 16, 2012.

The Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year Award is sponsored by Christian Small Publishers Association (CSPA). CSPA was established to represent and promote small publishers in the Christian marketplace. The association currently represents 100 small publishers. CSPA is a supplier member of CBA.
