PLANO, Texas, March 6, 2023 /Christian Newswire/ -- East-West, a Christian missions organization focused on taking the gospel to unreached people groups, is celebrating 30 years of ministry with an anniversary event on April 1 in Dallas. "The Chosen" creator and director Dallas Jenkins and worship duo Shane & Shane will join the celebration as the evening's special guests.

East-West's 30th anniversary celebration will take place at the Hyatt Regency Dallas, 300 Reunion Blvd., Dallas, TX, 75207. The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the dinner and program will begin at 6:30 p.m. The attire is black tie optional. East-West's vision is to glorify God by multiplying followers of Jesus in the spiritually darkest areas of the world. East-West conducts ministry in more than 40 countries worldwide across 10 major world regions, working primarily among unengaged unreached people groups and unreached people groups.

John Maisel and Bud Toole founded East-West in 1993. The two men began working behind the Iron Curtain in the 1980s and recognized the profound need to train evangelists, church planters, and pastors in nations with severely restricted Christian activity.
