Activist . . . went to work for the anti-abortion group Operation Rescue in 1989.  Arranged first interviews for jailed cell-mates by keeping details of media interview times and phone numbers written with soap on his jail cell's concrete floor.  He has been arrested for peaceful sit-ins (called Rescues) in front of abortion clinics over 30 times.

Memorable Moments . . .  wedding to Melody Reece of Lakewood, California; knocking a few chunks off the Berlin Wall; rescuing unborn children from abortion in Poland; going undercover inside Refuse & Resist in cooperation with Maryland State Police, shark diving off the coast of the Dominican Republic; protesting in China; and playing catcher at the births of his children.
