NEW YORK, July 28 /Christian Newswire/ -- Odyssey Networks' video series "Faith at the Gulf", a sequence of on-the-ground reports profiling faith leaders and individuals in action in response to the spiritual crisis caused by BP's Deepwater oil spill along coastal communities in the Gulf of Mexico, continues with three individuals exploring the relationship between faith, oil and humanity's responsibility to the earth.

The third in this series of five video reports focuses on Joe Wofford, an excursion boat captain making daily trips to Ship Island off the coast of Gulfport, MS; Tammy Lee Aubin, employee at the Half Shell Oyster House in Gulfport; and Jimmy C. Shaw, vacationer from Searcy, Arkansas. This profile illustrates, through contrasting viewpoints, people of faith coping with daily life in the aftermath of the oil spill. "There is a reason this is happening," Mr. Wofford told Odyssey, "I believe God is very much in control."

The third report in the "Faith at the Gulf" video series can be viewed now at www.odysseynetworks.org. In addition to the video reports from Biloxi, Odyssey's website also offers articles about the work of its faith group members in the Gulf, along with prayers for the recovery of the area.
