Palin Unplanned Pregnancy -- Also Randall Terry, Operation Rescue Founder, to Hold Press Conference during RNC to Announce Sit-Ins, Protests, and Further 'Peaceful Civil Disobedience'

Contact: Joseph Landry, 904-687-9804

MEDIA ADVISORY, September 1 /Christian Newswire/ -- In addition to announcing a Tuesday press conference, Randal Terry makes the following comments on the recent Palin statement:

"We honor the courage and consistency of the Palin family. May God give long life to this baby, and a long happy life together for the young couple.

"We leave it to the average American to contrast the Palin family's love of Life with the words of Senator Obama, who said if his daughters got pregnant, '...if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby...'

"Babies are a blessing, not a punishment."

Press conference information:

When: Press Conference, Tuesday, September 2, 2008, 10:30 A.M.

Where: Cathedral of St. Paul, 239 Selby Ave, Saint Paul, MN

Who: Mr. Randall Terry and other pro-life activists.

What: Announcing further "peaceful civil disobedience," and activities aimed at American Catholic Bishops.

Background: In Denver, Randall Terry organized and led "The Party Crashers" during the DNC.

This included peacefully disrupting 6 DNC caucuses and events, as well as blocking the Democrat Delegate entrance to the DNC at the Pepsi center on Tuesday, August 26.

14 pro-life activists were arrested, including 2 priests, 1 Baptist Pastor, 5 women, and 6 men. They spent one day in jail.

Now Mr. Terry comes to the RNC to announce the next wave of protests and arrests.

The Cathedral has been selected for the press conference because of activities that will be happening at Cathedrals nationwide over the next 2 months.
